Linen is the traditional glass cloth for a reason: the fibre does not shed, so a wine glass comes up clear rather than fluffy. These are 50 × 70 with a hanging loop in one corner, in the 190 gsm weight. Sold in twos, fours and sixes; the price shown is for a pair.
They are slightly stiff for the first three or four washes and then they are the best towel in the kitchen.
