Oat is the colour of the fibre itself, which is why this cover is never a slightly different shade from one run to the next: nothing has been added that could vary. It is woven at 165 gsm, which we consider the middle weight for bedding - heavy enough to drape, light enough to sleep under in July.
Three washes before dispatch take out the stiffness and most of the first-wash shrinkage. You will still get a crease within an hour of making the bed.
