The heaviest cloth we weave, at 240 gsm, made into a 140 cm wide panel with a rod pocket and back tabs. It takes a bright room down to dim and it insulates a cold window noticeably. It is not a blackout: linen is a woven fibre and light gets through the weave. For a dark bedroom add a blackout lining behind it, which any curtain maker can do.
Cut 3 cm long for first-wash shrinkage, like the sheer.
